Zimmer MedizinSystems named exclusive “Medical Device Manufacturer of the Year 2026” by MedTech Business Review, with featured magazine article pages.

Zimmer MedizinSystems has been named the exclusive recipient of Medical Device Manufacturer of the Year 2026 by MedTech Business Review, recognizing the company’s role in advancing reliable, workflow-focused medical technology for healthcare practices across the United States. According to MedTech Business Review, the recognition was determined through its editorial assessment process, which considers independent editorial research, subscriber nominations, industry input and factors related to business performance, commercialization, regulatory alignment, operational impact and industry credibility.

The accompanying MedTech Business Review feature article, “Building Clinical Consistency in a Market Shaped by Change,” highlights Zimmer MedizinSystems’ approach to supporting healthcare providers through German-engineered technology, U.S.-based education and service, and solutions designed for real-world clinical use. The article explores how the company’s portfolio addresses two important forces shaping today’s medical and aesthetic markets: evolving patient expectations and the operational demands of modern practices.

One of those expectations is patient comfort. As Jeff Lyons, Vice President of the Aesthetic Division, notes in the feature, “Patient comfort has been the priority and it’s expected to grow.” The article explains that this focus is reflected across Zimmer MedizinSystems’ aesthetic portfolio, including cryotherapy, pelvic floor muscle training, non-invasive body-contouring technologies and energy-based treatment solutions.

The feature also examines Zimmer MedizinSystems’ physical medicine portfolio, including focused shockwave therapy, radial pulse shockwave therapy, high-energy inductive therapy (HEIT), therapeutic ultrasound, high-power laser therapy and treatment tables. Gerold Gabele, Vice President of the Physical Medicine Division, emphasizes the importance of practical clinical integration, noting that “Workflow, efficiency, staff utilization and consistency often decide whether a technology supports a practice or creates operational strain.”

Education is also presented as a central part of the company’s long-term value to healthcare practices. “Education remains critical,” Gabele says in the feature. The article describes how clinical education, reliable equipment, workflow integration and ongoing support help practitioners apply technology with greater confidence and consistency.

“A spec sheet doesn’t define our value; your success does,” Lyons adds. “Our role goes beyond supplying technology—we’re a vested partner in our customers’ success. That means staying involved long after installation to support continued growth.”

Zimmer MedizinSystems is honored to receive this recognition from MedTech Business Review and proud to continue supporting healthcare, wellness and aesthetic professionals with medical technology solutions designed for patient-centered care, practice efficiency and long-term clinical use. As Gabele states in the feature, “Our goal is to continue refining proven technologies, expanding complementary solutions and supporting long-term practice growth through reliability, service and education.”
