Featured Clinical Pearls
The debut video in the series highlights best practices for using Z Shape, our vacuum-assisted RadioFrequency device. In this episode, Jacquelyn shares clinical pearls like:
-
- When using the handpieces with vacuum, the preset mode that allows for the fastest pulsation is usually ideal for smoother handpiece movement and greater treatment control.
- Always apply lotion using the provided application brush—not directly with the handpiece—to help prevent clogging.
- Leverage the internal and external electrodes to support uniform energy delivery.
In the second episode, Jacquelyn discusses proper setup and usage of PF TonerPro, which delivers passive Pelvic Floor Muscle Training to treat Urinary Incontinence.
Pearls from this episode include:
-
- Throughout treatment, patients remain fully clothed, seated, and comfortable, while the system delivers electromagnetic field energy to support pelvic floor muscle contractions. This is a non-invasive, no-effort option that supports pelvic floor training for urinary incontinence in both women and men.
- The system includes programs tailored to Stress, Urge, and Mixed Incontinence.
- Encourage patients to shift slightly in the chair to find the position where the muscles are most effectively engaged and to ensure the pelvic floor receives the full benefit of the magnetic field. Often, knees apart helps optimize the response. For some patients, it may also require sitting upright and leaning somewhat forward.
- The applicator can be used with or without the optional chair, allowing for treatment from different vectors.
What’s Next?
The #PearlsAreForeverWithBond series will continue to deliver focused, practitioner-friendly insights to help support treatment outcomes and device confidence.
