Procedure Video: Phoenix Tattoo Removal & Skin Revitalization – Laser Tattoo Removal with Zimmer Cryotherapy to Minimize Pain
By Regina West; November 27, 2017
Judi Goldman, of Phoenix Tattoo Removal & Skin Rejuvenation, regularly performs laser tattoo removal and other laser procedures for concerns like pigment conditions, wrinkles and acne scars. She shared with Zimmer MedizinSystems that these laser treatments can be painful for her clients. To combat client discomfort with cold therapy, she uses the Zimmer Cryo 6 “chiller”. Judi details some of the benefits of using the Zimmer device as she demonstrates a laser tattoo removal with simultaneous Zimmer Cryotherapy. You may view the demonstration video below.
“We are so excited to have our new Cryo machine, Cryo 6 from Zimmer,” begins Goldman. “We use it all of the time, especially with tattoo removal. Tattoo removal is very painful and uncomfortable. But, what’s great is that this makes it much easier to handle.”
Before proceeding with the tattoo removal, Goldman asks her client, “So we’re going to start. Are you ready?”
Her client responds, “I’m ready. It’s nice and cold.”
Goldman ensures that the client is comfortable before administering the laser. “How does that feel?”
“Chilly,” the client cheerfully responds. The laser procedure begins as we view a portion of the client’s tattoo disappear before our eyes. This tattoo removal causes no apparent distress to the client, presumably due to Goldman’s expert treatment and the applied air flow that is chilled to as low as -30°C by the Cryo 6.
